Success in Maryborough

Despite the threat of flooding rain, opera lovers from all over Wide Bay and beyond arrived in  Maryborough last Saturday for ‘Opera at Gatakers’. Originally planned as a twilight concert under the stars, the performance became an indoor concert in the Gatakers Art Space / Art Gallery.  Following a prolonged standing ovation we have already had  a couple of enquiries to return to the area later in the year, perhaps when the weather is a little more stable !!  OPERATIF! performers were Jennifer Parish – soprano, Deborah Rogers – mezzo, Dominic Walch – tenor, Stewart Cameron – baritone and John woods – piano.
